Ireland usually isn't at the top of a vacationer's list. The typical list has Disneyland, Europe or New York in the top three spots. What people miss is that Ireland offers a sublime experience, something not just the sophisticated travel will come to appreciate. Because Ireland is such a small country it generally gets passed over. When you visit the country and spend time with the Irish people you will find it a gift that keeps on giving.

1. Giant's Causeway

Ireland isn't about manmade attractions. They are about God's handiwork. At Giant's Causeway, you'll see thousands of perpendicular basalt columns. They are designed with different shapes including ones that are hexagonal in nature, but all are packed in tight formation that creates a pathway to sea. Some may think this structure is manmade, but it isn't.



2. Cliffs of Moher

The Cliffs of Moher are on the west side of Claire. They are Europe's highest cliffs with a dramatic drop off to the Atlantic Ocean below. Once you're among the Irish people in this glorious place, it is hard to imagine how this country is overlooked. There is no other place on earth that features the work of God so clearly.



3. Killarney

Killarney is for the romantic inside of you. There is a wonderful hotel called the Lake Hotel in Killarney, County Kerry. Have dinner overlooking the Killarney mountains and the adjacent lake. Having travelled the world, it is the most stunning natural dining experiences in the world. The Killarney National Park needs to be part of your tour as the scenery of the park is breathtaking.


4. Skellig Islands

Featured many times on National Geographic, Skellig islands are really bird's islands. It is made of two black pyramids with birds, birds and birds. When you look at the islands some may expect to see pirates stretching out with their bourbon, but it was actually a monastic outpost for early Christians.
